Time just keeps flying by!

I can't believe that January is almost over. It seems like Christmas was just yesterday. Before you know it, Easter will be here. Where does the time go? My weekend went fast but I was able to get some stitching done. I now have 3 turtles stitched on my "turtle" piece. Yeah!!! Hopefully, I'll be able to finish this piece in a reasonable amount of time. Of course, new designs are on the way and there are a few that I want to do. Take a look at what is coming and see if there is something that you would like to do.

From Just Nan
It looks like winter has hit Just Nan. The "Little Princess Snow" is simply too cute. However,
my favorite has to be "Just Dropping In" (definitely on my to do list).

Spring Has Come - Mystery Sampler

This new mystery sampler from Rosewood Manor will be released in 3 parts (March, April & May). The design is stitched on an exclusive patterned 32ct. linen from Fabric Flair called Yorkshire Flowers. The fabric features small yellow flowers printed on a white background. Each part uses 15 skeins of Weeks Dye Works floss and each one also includes a bonus design.
I can't wait to see what the finished design will look like.

Happy stitching!!!

Not enough time to stitch!

After enjoying a long weekend out of town, you would think many hours of stitching would have been accomplished. Well, let me tell you, not a stitch was stitched until I got home on Sunday night. Actually, that is quite depressing.  On the plus side, when I finally sat down to stitch, I started a new project. I'm working on "All the Way Down" from Ink Circles. (See picture below)

I have the first turtle done and many more to go. Since I stitched a baseball sampler for my son, this piece is for my daughter. I can't wait to finish it for her. Anyone else ready to start something new? Well, there are quite a few new designs on the way...check them out.

COMING SOON!

From Country Cottage Needleworks
The new Frosty Forest design "Snowman's Cottage" is  too cute, although it does make me cold (burrrrrr). The "Be My Valentine" design is a perfect Valentine gift.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK
AND
KEEP STITCHING!

Monday, January 13, 2014

The rain finally went away.

After a rainy Friday and a stormy Saturday, Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day. Unfortunately, I spent most of the day inside. Between hosting a Panther playoff party in the early afternoon and going to my father-in-laws birthday party in the evening, I didn't get to enjoy the weather. To make matters worse, I was only able to stitch on Friday. I really wanted to get more stitching done especially since I just bought two new projects which I'm dying to start (hopefully, one day this week).

New designs are on the way. Take a look at what will be arriving very soon!

SHEPHERD'S FOLD 2014
from Shepherd's Bush

The 2014 Shepherd's Fold is going to be a little sewing box filled with lovely stitching accessories. It will begin in February and a new little treasure will be sent out about every other month. The first kit will be a sampler that can be used to cover a box. The box can then be used to store all the other accessories. The box is an OPTIONAL part of the fold. Instead of covering a box, the sampler can also be framed. All the other kits will make accessory items such as a pincushion or scissor fob. All the different pieces will go together to make a complete set.   The first kit will be larger than the rest and will cost about $50.00. The remaining kits will cost between $15.00 and $25.00 each.

Have a great week!!!
