Is Fall on the way?

We are now at the end of August. Autumn is just around the corner and will hopefully be bringing us some much cooler temps. Of course, anything under 90 degrees would be cooler that what we have dealt with lately. These hot temps have been good for one thing. I have stayed inside more this summer and actually managed to get some stitching done.

The Stitch and Frame Shop will be CLOSED on Monday September 5, 2016 (Labor Day). I will not be posting a blog next week so the next blog will be on Monday September, 12. I know that seems like a long time but hopefully, I will have a lot to share.

The 2016 Harvest Market Hop
will be starting on September 8, 2016 - September 13, 2016.

This is a WHOLESALE show. Only shops can place orders. However, you can go shopping and have The Stitch and Frame Shop place an order for you.

Visit the Market Hop Facebook page to see sneak peeks of new designs that are being released during the hop. Let the shop know what you would like to have and we will gladly order it for you.

I love the "Mistletoad" with her red lips. The skeleton looks awfully happy to be creeping out of a closet.

On the way...

Wow, we are almost to the end of August. This year is just flying by and just so you know, Christmas will be here in 4 months and 3 days...ughhh. It's hard to believe that the holidays are almost upon us. Need some inspiration? Take a look at some new designs that will be arriving in the shop soon.

The new "Hawk Run" sampler is simply stunning. I told myself that I would not start a really big project but I may have to rethink that.  I also believe the shop should stitch one of the tavern signs. Guess which one?

"Mr. Nutty Owl" is a limited edition ornament. Be sure to get yours while they are available. He is simply too cute with his acorn hat (included in the chart). "Wild Eyed Jacks" is a great name for those bug eyed jack-o-lanterns. What fun autumn designs.

Back to School!

Image result for clip art back to school

For me, summer is now over. Today my kids went back to school and of course, they were not looking forward to it. I'm not looking forward to dealing with the homework arguments and dragging a certain young man out of bed every morning but I'll deal with it. Of course, now that school has started (or will soon), that means the holidays are just around the corner. Time to get those needles flying and finish (or start) your gifts.

Take a look at some of the new designs that are on the way and maybe inspiration will strike.

I actually like all three of these designs. The graveyard looks so creepy and the Autumn Sampler is full of rich colors. I don't know which I like more.
