Christmas is coming....

Image result for clipart christmas borders

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I had a great time with my family. We ate, watched football and just had fun. I didn't go shopping even though my sister and daughter did. Instead of shopping...I stitched! Stitching was definitely much more fun than fighting the crowds.

Christmas is only 25 days away. That's not much time to stitch a gift but it's not impossible.
Take a look below at some new Christmas designs that are on the way. Hopefully, they will arrive in enough time to get them stitched.

New Christmas Designs On The Way.....

From Shepherd's Bush
Four new Christmas kits.

Merry Little Christmas (kit)

Noel Sheep Tag/Sled (kit)
Sled is NOT included.

Santa Box (kit)

Christmas Sheep (kit)

From Ships Manor
What a fun Christmas sampler.

Country Christmas

From Bent Creek
These lovely designs should be really quick to stitch. The two kits are stitched over two on 18ct. linen which I think stitches really fast (probably because my eyes can see it).

Ice Skating Globe (kit)

The Little House of Ginger

Santa Sheep (kit)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Image result for clip art thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is only 3 days way. Am I ready? Of course not, and my family starts arriving tomorrow afternoon. My house is mostly clean. I only have a few little things left to do which I plan to get done this afternoon. The grocery shopping, however, is not done. Hopefully, this will get done tonight. If only I could add just a little more time to my day. Unfortunately, stitching is probably going to be on hold until after Thanksgiving.

The hours for the shop are a little different this week. Take a look.....

The holidays are coming!

Image result for clip art fall

Wow, Thanksgiving is only 10 days away which means Christmas is just around the corner. Time to start thinking about gifts. I told my kids to start making their lists because "Santa" was not waiting to do his shopping at the last minute (like last year).

It is not too late to have something framed for Christmas. The deadline for Christmas is Thursday Dec. 10th so hurry and finish up those Christmas gifts. It will be here before you know it.

There are quite a few new designs and other "goodies" on the way. Take a look...........

From Nora Corbett (Mirabilia)
Love the colors in both of these pixies.

The Black Forest Pixies Collection

The Berry Collector

The Leaf Collector

From Little House Needleworks
The "Christmas Angel" is a beautiful design to end the series with but my favorite of these three designs is "Born in a Manger". I really want to do this one for next year.

Three Snowy Hills

Born in a Manger

Christmas Angel
12th and final ornament in the Sampler Tree series

From Hands on Design (and Just Another Button Co.)
Two Christmas-themed square.ology designs. Both of these would make great ornaments and would be quick to stitch, especially "kiss.a.bit".

A note from designer Karen Kluba
of Rosewood Manor.

This is from Karen Kluba of Rosewood Manor .. I’m not sure how many of you are aware of our daughter Rachel’s very serious accident late this summer. She lives in England. She and her two sons 7 & 6 were visiting us here in Michigan for about 30 days while the boys were off school. Her husband had come over for the last 8 days of the summer. We had a fun summer which ended in tragedy just two days before they were to fly home. We are all devastated. After a month in hospital here in Michigan she was flown via medical transport over to England to a hospital there. She has sustained a TBI—Traumatic Brain Injury. She is now in a center for enablement—receiving rehab in Oxford, England. We are all hoping and praying for a miracle, that she can overcome this, but it will all take time—lots of time. The doctors feel that her sister, her father and I, should visit to help with her rehab as often as possible. I designed this leaflet to raise money to help our family be able to fly over to visit her in hospital in England. It is called “Crazy Socks”—the explanation of the title is on the back cover of the chart. Shown on 32ct Antique White or Cream (OR any count or color of fabric of your choice) using DMC floss with a stitch count of 180 x 90.

You can also support Karen by purchasing any of her designs.
