Look what's on the way!

I wanted to share with you some new designs that will be coming out in October and November.

From Shepherd's Bush

Get Scared (kit)                  Creepy Pincushion (kit)

  Stocking - Thomas                         Santa's Flight

From Just Nan

Wee WhimZi Ornament Boxes

These antique brass treasure boxes measure 1 1/2" square and 1/2" tall and include a satin cord hanger. There is nothing to stitch on these. Instead, you can put something into the box such as, a small photo, a coin, or even a small note. These boxes would make great keepsake ornaments. We are taking orders for these in advance so please let us know if you would like one.

Turkey Lurking
What a cute turkey!

In progress from Lizzie Kate

2011 Limited Edition Christmas Kit - Be Jolly

This design will be a band sampler with lots of colorful holiday fun.
I can't wait to see it! Looks great so far.

If you are interested in any of the patterns above, let us know so that we can hold one for you when it arrives.

Now is the time to get those holiday gifts framed.

Hope you all have a very "cool" weekend and I'll blog again next week.

Friday already?

Wow, is it Friday already? With the way my day has been going so far, it feels more like a Monday. At least the rain has finally stopped. It was raining so hard this morning that I thought the car would just float my daughter to school today. This would be a great day to just stay at home and stitch which is what I plan to do later this afternoon. I am actually going to get a project finished (yeah!!!). Of course, I have 3 more waiting in the wings. Take a look at some new projects coming out in October.

From Country Stitches/With Thy Needle & Thread

Sampler of the Season - Winter

November Word Play

Both of these look great even though they are just a sampling of the whole project. I especially like the November Word Play (but fall patterns are a weakness of mine).

From Rosewood Manor

To Have a Child

Give Me a Friend

Now Available from SamSarah Designs

Both of these patterns are a continuation of a series. Daily Life: Tweet Your Song is the second in a series of  small designs that can be stitched individually or around the center design "Garden Daily".
Farmer's Market: Fresh Garlic is the second in the vegetable series.

The Blogger's Favorites

I wanted to post some new patterns that I really liked. It was really hard to choose because I like so much but I ended up choosing a pattern from Val's Sitchin Stuff called Boo Ya and some some new patterns from Hinzeit. Check them out below.

Boo Ya
I just love the bright colors in these pieces!

Punkin Patch                                      Witch Stitch

Dark Shadows

Last Stitch Cemetery

Ginger Village

Primitive Boo Kitty

I love all of the pieces that Hinzeit has designed. I just wanted to show the new ones.

 Just a quick note:
The Stitch and Fame Shop's Annual Fall Custom Framing Special will start on October 1, 2011 and run through October 19, 2011. During this sale, you will receive 20% off any complete custom frame order. A 50% deposit is required. No other discounts will apply and discounts will not be given to rush orders. Take advantage of this great deal and get those Christmas gifts framed now.

Also, anyone who needs to have finishing done ( pillows, stockings, bell pulls, etc.) before Christmas needs to bring what they have to the shop as soon as possible. Diana, our finisher, has set the deadline for November 1st. Nothing will be guaranteed after that date.

Have a great weekend!

Thursday, September 8, 2011

Well, another week is almost over. Time sure seems to go by fast these days although, I think my kids would totally disagree. I managed to get some stitching done this weekend and almost got a project finished (YEAH). When it is done, I will start on some Halloween stitching (small projects of course). After that, I guess I will get back to a larger sampler that I have been working on quite a while (I wish I was a faster stitcher). New things are still coming into the shop. I wanted to let you know about some items that are already here as well as things that are on the way.

Just released from The Trilogy:
Spooky Night and the Domes of Doom
The leaflet, "Spooky Night", contains the graphs for two designs. It can be stitched by itself or you can use the border design and fill in the center with the three "Domes of Doom". This is really a cute Halloween design with many different possibilities.

Spooky Night

Spooky Night Border with the Domes of Doom
Dome of Doom: Dastardly Duo           Dome of Doom: Haunted Heads

Dome of Doom: Hoot and Hiss

The "Domes of Doom" would look great stitched individually and framed or even made into ornaments.

On order now .... from The Drawn Thread

A NEW monthly series....Word Play

Each month, a new chart will be released featuring various words and fun little motifs that represent the featured month. Of course, there will twelve in all when the series is complete. This looks like a fun and quick new series. I am looking forward to seeing the other months. October looks really cute.

October...Word Play

Have a great day and keep on stitching!
