Things have slowed down...but not really.

The amount of new things coming into the store has slowed down but yet things at the shop are still hopping. We are hanging new models that we borrowed from designers (Praiseworthy Stitches and the Stitching Parlor) and we are getting ready for the Spring Custom Framing Special. Yes, it's that time of year again so finish up those projects and pull out the ones you 've been saving. The framing special starts April 2, 2012 and goes until April 24, 2012.

Blackbird Designs - 2012 Loose Feathers Club

There will be 4 different booklets released quarterly. All the designs for this year have been inspired by antique samplers and each one will include one main piece and 2 small bonus pieces. Instead of the pieces connecting together (like last year), these designs will be stitched individually.

If you are interested in this series, please let the shop know so that we can reserve copies for you as they become available. The first one is scheduled to be released at the end of March. I don't have any pictures available right now, but I'll post them when I do. All I know for sure is that they are all stitched on R&R Reproductions linen.
