9 days and counting

Christmas is just over a week away. Thankfully, the house is decorated and most of the shopping is done. I hope to finish this week because I really do not want to fight the crowds this weekend. My baking (cookies) needs to be done by Friday. Not really sure how I'm going to pull that off but a few late nights should do the trick. Oh yeah, I still need to do my wrapping as well. I wonder if Santa's elves might pop in and help. Doubtful, I'm still waiting for the cleaning fairy and she has yet to make an appearance. (ha ha ha)

Need a little inspiration for a new project? Take a look below to see some new designs that will be arriving in the shop soon.

Thanksgiving is almost here!

Yeah!!! It's almost Thanksgiving. This year we are having it at my house and I am looking forward to cooking with my mom and daughter. I'm not planning to go shopping on Friday but that could change. What I really would like to do is eat leftovers, watch a Christmas movie and stitch (not necessarily in that order). I have a sampler that I have put aside and I really want to pull it out and work on it. I won't be able to finish it this year so my plan is for sometime in 2014.

Need a new project for next year? Take a look at some new designs that will be arriving soon. Maybe you will find just the right one. If not, be sure to check out the what's new section on our web site or come by the shop and see many other wonderful designs

A day late and a lot of dollars short!

Yes, I'm a day late with the blog and my bank account just took a big hit. Instead of blogging yesterday morning, I was off getting a root canal (not at all fun I might add). Talk about an expensive procedure (even with insurance). This was not great timing with the holidays so close but that's life. I will eventually get the credit card paid off.

Now that you know why the blog is late, on with the good stuff. Take a look below at some new designs that are on the way. Some may have already arrived in the shop.

NEWS......NEWS......NEWS......NEWS

Crescent Colours will now be called CLASSIC COLORWORKS.
For more information, read the news release (below)
from Sharon Crescent. This was posted on her blog on November 8, 2013

Today we are pleased to announce that Crescent Colours hand dyed threads will now be manufactured by Classic Colorworks, a brand new company in the cross-stitch industry.

Ronny Williams, the son of Little House Needleworks founders Diane and Ron Williams and brother of Country Cottage Needleworks founder Nikki Leeman, is the sole owner and will oversee dyeing and shipping operations for his new company.

The soft and vibrant colors stitchers have come to love, as well as the high quality of the threads, will remain the same.

The names and colors of current threads will not change so any existing designs that call for Crescent Colours threads may now be filled by the same color names but under the manufacturer Classic Colorworks.

Thank you for your support of Crescent Colours over the past 12 years. It's been my pleasure to serve you. You'll still be getting the same beautiful threads and the same awesome service as before. I'm just starting on a different journey now. I wish Ronny and his crew nothing but the best in their new venture.
