28 Days til Christmas!

Did everyone get nice and stuffed at Thanksgiving? I certainly did. It was a great day spent with my wonderful family (and no I didn't kill anyone). Now that "turkey day" has come and gone, it's time to get ready for Christmas which is only 28 days away. With that in mind, I want to remind everyone that the deadline to get something framed in time for Christmas is Dec. 9th. We will  not be able to guarantee anything brought in after the 9th.

Here are some new designs that are heading this way.....

From Little House Needleworks
This is a new 9 part series called "Farmhouse Christmas that will be starting at the end of January. The designs can be stitched all together or individually. The fabric and fiber info is not available at this time but the names of the designs are as follows: Little Red Barn, Horsin' Around, Grandpa's Pick-Up, Dairy Darlin', Grandma's Quilt, Pinewood Farm, Cock a Doodle Do, Farm Folk, and Baa Baa Black Sheep.

Farmhouse Christmas
New Series starting in January

From Country Cottage Needleworks
This is a cute Christmas design but I would have to change the colors on Mr. & Mrs. Claus from pink to red. Just call me a traditionalist.

Tis the Season

From Dames of the Needle
What a cute ornament collection. They would also make festive little pillows. Of course, I would have to brighten the red just a touch.

2017 Christmas Ornament Set

From Lucy Beam
If this festive ornament doesn't call for it, I'd add some gold metallic thread and make the bells shine.

Bells & Holly

From Bobbie G. Designs
Both of these designs make me wish it was 80 degrees and I was at the beach.

       Summer Sampler                                   Sea Breezes

From Mani di Donna
I just love these small Christmas pillows. I would really like to get these done for next year but we'll see. My project list is a mile long already.

Christmas Mood Pillows

From Stoney Creek
The cats are playing in the Christmas tree. I don't think the "calm" will last too long.

All is Calm

From Heartstring Samplery
I like both of these designs but the "M is for Mermaid" is my favorite. Definitely going to the top of the project list.

Fairy Coffee Mother                      M is for Mermaid

From MarNic Designs
Great thoughts from MarNic Designs. The "I've Seen Better Days" reads like this: "I've seen better days, I've seen worse days, I don't have everything, I don't need anything, but I have everything I need".

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it is still 3 days away but I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy whatever time you have off and remember you are supposed to stuff the turkey not yourself...hahahaha.

Just a reminder, The Stitch & Frame Shop will be closed on Wed. Nov. 22 and Thurs. Nov. 23. We will be open normal hours on Fri. Nov. 24 and Sat. Nov. 26.

New designs are on the way...........take a look!

From The Trilogy
Two new holiday reminders. Is Santa wearing sunglasses? I can't tell but he looks pretty jolly.

All is Bright                         Jolly Santa

From Country Cottage Needleworks
Just what Main Street needed...a grocery store. I love the pink building.

Main Street Grocery Store

From Shepherd's Bush
I guess I'll have to do this for next year. Definitely do not have time to stitch it for this year especially since it isn't even in the shop yet. Love all the Thanksgiving motifs in this design.

Thanksgiving Notes

From Nora Corbett
Nora has started a new Pixie collection: The Posion Pixies. Hard to believe that these lovely pixies are poisonous.

Angel White Trumpet                                  White Clover

From Nikyscreations
What a sweet Christmas sheep. I wonder if he is perhaps a gift since he is standing under a tree and has a bow for a tail.

Yuletide

From The Vickery Collection
I don't know what to say about this design except "simply stunning"! I love the star shinning down within the cross.

We Three Kings

From Stoney Creek
Three very different designs from Stoney Creek. There is a lot of stitching in "Love Letters". I don't think I love anyone enough to stitch them that. "Harvest Gratitude" also has a lot of stitches but the scene is so beautiful, I would actually stitch it (just don't know when).

Love Letters            Harvest Gratitude          A Bushel & A Peck

From Nebby Needle
Two great designs that would be quick to stitch or at least reasonably quick.

Christmas Blessings                      Hallelujah

From Lucy Beam
I am definitely ready for some of these. Hope we actually get to see some this winter.

Winter Flakes

From Imaginating
Don't know if I'd want to string lights on a cactus but the idea is cute.

Seas and Greetings                      Computer Cat

Merry Christmas           Cowboy Christmas
Sampler

From Homespun Elegance
Something this world needs more of.

Christmas Peace

From Deb Bee's Designs
Wouldn't these ornaments look even better on a blue material? I think so. You could get real creative with these snowflakes.

Coming soon!

Less than 2 weeks until Thanksgiving...Ughhhhhh. So much to do and so little time but have no fear, I will get everything done. I'm just not going to say how many bodies I'll leave in my wake...lol.
On top of everything, my dryer broke on Sunday. It's at least 17 years old so my husband and I decided it was time to get a new one. Guess what my Christmas present is going to be this year?

New designs are coming soon. Take a peek at some of them.

From Little House Needleworks
Yay, the final design in the Early American series is on the way. I wonder what type of series she will do next?

                                                          Molly Pitcher

From Pineberry Lane
What a cute set of Thanksgiving/Autumn designs. Too late to get ready for this year but  a definite must for next year.

Fruits of Our Labor

From Val's Stuff
Ho ho ho...this adorable Santa ornament is a kit. It includes everything needed to finish it except for the Weeks Dye Works and DMC floss. I just love his felt mustache.

Coming to Town

From Blackbird Designs
The 5th design in the Loose Feathers "For the Birds" series is finally on the way. I really like the colors she has been using in this series.

Sing a Song of Seasons
#5 in the Loose Feathers "For the Birds" series

From The Vickery Collection
I totally agree with the sentiment on the "Worried Ducks". By the end of next week, I probably won't have any feathers left to ruffle.

History of Fire Engines

From Tiny Modernist
These fun Christmas ornaments are made even more festive with the pom pom trim. What a cute idea!

Chalkboard Christmas Greetings

From Stoney Creek
Three wonderful new stocking designs.

Caroling with Santa        Christmas Puppies Stocking

Santa and Lamb

From The Stitcherhood
Wouldn't this guy make a cute Christmas ornament? I think so. If you wanted to add some color, put a red bead at the end of his nose and make him Rudolph, the Rockin Reindeer.

Rockin' Reindeer

From Annie Beez Folk Art
If I were going to stitch myself a Christmas stocking, I think this would be the one. It is simply gorgeous.
