Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you all had a nice holiday. It feels like forever since my last blog although, nothing much has happened since. I spent a wonderful Christmas with my family. I wish it could have lasted a little longer. I finished putting away all my Christmas decorations yesterday so now my house is ready for a new year. I sure hope it is better than last year!

Happy Monday! I'm finally back. My moms surgery went very well. She was in the hospital for 4 days and is now recovering. I spent 2 days with her after she got home and have been calling her everyday since. She has her post-op doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we will see what he says. 

Christmas is quickly approaching and I am not even close to being ready. I have never been this far behind in my Christmas preparations. I'm not stressing over it though. I will get done what I can and if a present is late, then Christmas will just last that much longer.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine didn't go as planned but despite some major setbacks, the day turned out fine. Just a heads up, I will not be posting a blog next Monday. I will be out of town for about a week as my mom is having surgery on Wednesday. I should be back to blogging on December 13th.
