Summer is just sailing by!

Wow, we are at the end of July already.  It seems like the summer just got started and now it's almost August. Of course that means school is just around the corner and I'm sure kids everywhere are just thrilled (I know mine are.......NOT!!!). Of course this means Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before you know it. I know, I'm not ready to think about Christmas yet either, but if you are going to stitch for the holidays, now is the time to do so.

Take a look at some of the new designs that will be arriving in the shop soon.

From Bobbie G. Designs

 Halloween: Season of the Witches
This is one of my favorite new Halloween designs.
It looks like a witch party.

Meet Jack
He looks too cool with his pipe.

From Abby Rose Designs

Angels Unaware
I have always loved this saying and this sampler is beautiful.

From Country Cottage Needleworks

Up Up and Away
I have never wanted to go up in a hot air balloon but
stitching one would be ok. This design is too cute!

Santa's Village #9 - Santa's Sleighworks
The newest addition in the Santa's Village series.
I just love the flying reindeer button.

From Cross Stitching Art

The Siren of the Deep
What a peaceful looking mermaid.
Makes me wish I was floating in the pool right now.

From Imaginating

Angels Welcome
I believe that this could be adapted into a
wonderful birth announcement.

Let's Be Friends
Perfect for any cat lover.

Rose Quilt
The roses are simply lovely

Seaside Wreath
Look at all the shells. It really makes me want
to go to the beach and search for some.

From Keslyn's

Quilted Christmas and Ornaments
My favorite part about this design is how they finished it.
It looks great!

From Pickle Barrel Designs

Heroes
This is soooo true for anyone who serves our country.

From Silver Creek Samplers

Sing a Sampler #4
Makes you want to sing doesn't it?
Also, makes me think of "The Sound Of Music" which I just love!!

From Stoney Creek

Heirloom Wedding Sampler              Twins Birth Sampler
Two great samplers: one celebrating marriage and the other the birth of twins.
It is really nice to see a birth announcement for twins. My best friend
will probably wish that this had been available 13 years ago.

Birds of the Month: July      Birds of the Month: August
Only 4 more birds to go and the series will be complete.

From Lizzie Kate (arriving in mid August)

Jingles Flip-It #10 - Love                          Jingles Flip-It #11 - Joy

Jingles Flip-It #12 - Let it Snow (not pictured)

Remember, the Jingles can be stitched individually or all together.

Merry String Snippet

Thankful String Snippet
I like both of the "snippet" designs but my favorite is the Thankful one.
I love Thanksgiving despite the fact that Halloween and Christmas
seem to get all the attention.

Santa 2013 - Jolly Old Soul
Lizzie Kate's annual Santa.

Tiny Tidings XVIII
A wonderful collection of small Christmas designs.

Featured Accessory

MAGNI - CLIPS

Eyes getting tired? Do you like stitching on linen but it's getting harder to see
 (even with your glasses)?

Then try.....Magni-Clips

Simply clip them on your eyeglasses and you're ready to go. Each pair is lightweight
and features rubberized feet so they will not scratch the glasses.
Available in different magnifications:
+1.5
+2.0
+2.5
+3.0
+3.5
+4.0

I use these all the time......they are GREAT!

IT'S DONE!!!!

I finally finished the baseball sampler that I have been working on forever.
It's called "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" from Little House Needleworks.
The only change I made was the fabric. I used 28ct. Ancient from Picture This Plus.
Both my husband and son really liked this piece and can't wait until it is framed.

The picture is not the greatest. It looks much better in person but
you get the idea. I'm just thrilled to have it done.
On to the next project!

Have a great week and keep stitching!!!
