Christmas is here already...only 8 more days!!!!

Christmas is arriving very quickly so it is a good thing that I am almost ready. I only have a few small things to pick up this week and then I am offically done (unless the grocery store counts and then I'm not). This will be the last blog I write for about 2 weeks so I wanted to give you a heads up on some new designs coming out at the end of December and into January.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, but as we are busy celebrating, let's all try to take a moment and remember the lives lost in Newtown, Connecticut. For many families, Christmas will never be the same. My heart just breaks for them.

Christmas is coming fast...only 15 more days!!!

Christmas is two weeks away and I don't know about you, but I'm not ready yet! Guess I'd better hurry! I'm hoping to have all my shopping done by this weekend but I'm sure something will happen and I'll be out at the last minute trying to finish. Well, at least my house and Christmas tree are decorated. I may not have anything under the tree yet, but it will get there eventually. Being so close to Christmas, there really isn't a lot to blog about but I did find a few new things to share with you. NEW "Mystery Sampler" is coming!

Do you remember Lizzie Kates's Halloween Mystery Sampler and With thy Needle and Thread's Birds of a Feather Mystery Sampler? Well now, Blue Ribbon Designs will be releasing the next mystery. Here is what I know about it so far:

• There will be 3 parts. The first part will be released in Jan., the 2nd part in Feb. and the 3rd part in March.
• A fun finishing idea will be included with each part.
• The sampler will feature a springtime theme.
• The entire design uses 23 skeins of Weeks Dye Works threads and is stitched on your choice of either 30 or 35ct linen (also from Weeks Dye Works). The color will remain a mystery until the first part is released.
• The stitch count for the entire sampler is 300w x 150h.
• Collect all three parts to unlock a mystery bonus that will be available after the 3rd part is released.

Please let the shop know if you are interested in joining the "Mystery Club".
