Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very relaxing since I spent it at the beach. My family and I were able to enjoy the beach and some go-cart racing before the rain arrived. We also enjoyed some wonderful seafood. I was even able to get some stitching done (yay!). It was a short trip but well worth it. I took the photo above yesterday morning. It was going to be a gorgeous day (to bad we had to leave).

Just a quick mention...the Fall Custom Framing Special ends tomorrow. If you are planning to take advantage of it, you only have today and tomorrow left.

From With Thy Needle & Thread
As always, great designs from Brenda. She is however, starting a new series called Souvenirs of the Heart.  These are "tiny work" designs which means they are worked over 1 thread on 28ct. Lugana. They will finish up approximately 2.5" tall. New minis will be added to the series but in no specific time frame.

The lovely confection she is holding looks yummy but I'm not so sure I would eat it. She is beautiful but I seriously think she is up to something.

How cute! This is now my favorite in the Chalk Full series.

From Heartstring Samplery
The tea ball ornaments are actually stitched on a 2.75" tea infuser ball. Stitching on a stiff metal mesh that is curved is very challenging so it is not recommended for a beginner. The pattern includes tips and tricks that Beth learned while working on these. I just might have to try these challenging little ornaments.

These little witches would make great ornaments for a Halloween Tree.

From Scattered Seeds Samplers
This might be a little large for an ornament but it makes a great pillow. Love those pumpkin faces.

From Waxing Moon Designs
I agree with both of these musings. They are too funny.

From Vintage Needlearts
I really like the verse on this sampler. Another design for the stash.
