It's summer!

Well, my kids are now out of school. Summer, for me, has officially arrived. Let the fun (& heat) begin. I would work on my tan during the summer but since all I do is burn, I will work on cross stitch projects instead. I know my skin will thank me for it :)

Finally...a new blog post!

Due to the holiday last Monday, I was not able to post a new blog. Well, that is not entirely true. I could have blogged from home, but I was too busy enjoying the day with my family. I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day holiday.

Since I didn't post last week, I'm going to share some new designs that have already arrived in the shop along with some that are on the way. Enjoy!

Glendon place has a new collection of flowers called "Baroque Beauties". They do not look like traditional flowers but are much more glitzy. They use metallic threads, beads and crystal treasures. The names were selected based upon popular women's names during the Baroque period. I imagine that the pictures do not do these "beauties" justice. I would love to see one stitched. Maybe I should start one.
