If there was ever a day to stitch, today would be that day. If I didn't have to work today, I would be home sitting on my couch stitching (or napping). Who would want to be out in all this rainy mess? Oh well, I will stitch when I get home (it will probably still be raining then).
By the way, there are only 53 days until Christmas. Get those fingers moving, time is quickly running out for the holiday stitching. Need some ideas for a 2016 project? Take a look below at some new designs that will be arriving in the shop soon.
COMING SOON!
From Blackberry Lane Designs
A little late for this year, but these "frightful" Halloween designs would be a great addition for next year. I really like the spider/pumpkin at the base of the tree. Simply spooky!
Hollow Eve's Tree
Sir Scissors Hollow
From Mill Hill
"Bountiful Blessings" from Amylee Weeks. Each kit includes: beads, fabric, needles and a chart. The finished design size is approximately 7" x 7".
Amazing Grace A Friend Loves
Consider the Lilies Believe
From Abby Rose Designs
This design looks like it would be quick to stitch and with only 53 days until Christmas, quick is definitely needed.
Love Peace Hope Tree
From Dames of the Needle
Of all these designs, I really like the "Fall Pumpkins Hornbook" (remember... I like Fall) but instead of putting it on a hornbook, I would either make it into an ornament or a flatfold.
Quaker Flowers Hornbook Merry Christmas Hornbook
Fall Pumpkins Hornbook Flag & Flowers Tall Drum
From Death By Thread
Two very festive holiday designs. Wouldn't "Happy Holidays" look great wrapped around a basket?
Merry and Bright
Happy Holidays
From Kit & Bixby
Truer words have never been spoken. Ok...maybe they have but these two sayings are pretty accurate.
Happiness is...
Chocolate is the Answer
From Dutch Treat
This reminds me of an old fashioned Victorian Christmas.
Merry Christmas
From Tiny Modernist
The title says it all.
Christmas Cuties
From The Vickery Collection
A very stunning piece with vibrant colors.
Exotic Goldfish
From Lila's Studio
This design reminds me of my house...squirrels, acorns and lots of leaves. A very beautiful fall design.
Gathering Acorns
From Threadwork Primitives
I just love the way this piece was finished although, it would probably look good framed as well.
Holiday Patchwork
